Council members discuss, question 911 call center feasibility report

During a council work session on Tuesday, Austin's mayor and city council members spent a little over three hours listening to public input and a third-party public safety consultant's presentation of a study on whether the city should establish a joint emergency communications call center. During that time, council members also questioned the consultant on how it put together the study and discussed the roadmap forward that the study laid out.
