A strengthening storm system out west will help to pump in some stronger winds Friday in Minnesota, with gusts of up to 30 mph.Cloud cover picks up through the day, but the Twin Cities stays dry most of the day with highs back in the mid 70s.There could be a stray shower across central Minnesota that clips the metro between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.Slightly better rain chances arrive Saturday afternoon and evening with a cold front that will keep winds gusting near 30 mph. The showers should shift south Saturday night with amounts staying under a tenth of an inch.Ahead of the front, highs reach the 70s Saturday before dropping to the mid 50s Sunday.More rain looks to return into Monday, bringing amounts closer to a quarter inch. This will lock in the cooler air with highs staying closer to 50 and lows in the upper 30s-to-low 40s early next week. There is some uncertainty, but another system looks to slide in Wednesday that will keep an active pattern through the middle of next week.
